TAMS / Java / Hades / applets (print version): contents | previous | nextDice LED decoder
DescriptionThis little circuit decodes a three-bit input value to
control a set of seven LEDs,
which are meant to show the patterns on the six faces of a standard dice.
Click on one of the '0' .. '6' fields of the hex-input switch
to select the corresponding bit pattern, or click the '+' field
to step through the input values.
(Obviously, the input value '7' is not valid for a dice,
and can be considered a don't care for logic minimization.
The circuit shown above enables all LEDs for this input value.)
